    Mutenderende High wins NBSZ prize



     

    NetOne donates laptops to Mutenderende High

    CHIRUMANZU – Netone has handed over five laptops to Mutenderende High School in Dzoro Village under Chief Hama as part of the prizes for scooping the Midlands Province most outstanding school in blood donation in 2017.

    The laptops were handed over by Netone marketing executive Dr Eldrette Shereni at the school and where she applauded the school for the outstanding blood donations.

    She also said that Netone will continue to support the National Blood Service Zimbabwe (NBSZ) in its quest to ensure that there are enough blood stocks in the country.

     "We thank Mutenderende High School for supporting the blood donation drive. We have been sponsoring NBSZ for 12 years now and we pledge to continue supporting the saving of lives through blood donation," said Dr Shereni.

    Mutenderende head, Loyal Tigere thanked Netone for the gesture which he said will go a long way in aiding research at the school through ICT.
    The school also won the award twice before, in 2012 and 2013.

    Acting NBSZ chief executive officer, Esther Massundah also paid tribute to the mobile service provider for their unwavering support to blood donors and financial support during the annual World Blood Donor Day (WBDD) commemorations nationwide.

    Meanwhile, Mutenderende was officially handed over to Masvingo NBSZ branch due to its proximity to the Province.
