    Robbers who terrosised Gweru attested, face 65 counts

    GWERU – Police in Gweru have attested five suspected robbers who terrorised Gweru and its environments by stealing and raping female victims.
    There are 33 complainants so far and all the cases were committed in Gweru and Lower Gweru.
    Police believe that their spate of robberies stretched from May to August 2018 and the five have so far made indications and cleared 65 cases.
    The suspects are Knowledge Prince (26) of Village Lugwala, Chief Bunina, Lower Gweru, Tawanda Moyo (28) of Mkoba 9, Jabulani Richard Sibanda ( 34) of 726 Cowdry Park, Bulawayo, Hloniphani Sibanda (28) of 2024 Woodlands Park, Gweru and FaraiNcube (32) 702 Cowdry Park, Bulawayo.
    Midlands Police Spokesperson Assistant Inspector Ethel Mukwende confirmed the development.
    The Mirror gathered that the 65 counts include three rape charges, one attempted murder, kidnapping, theft of motor vehicle and unlawful entry. 
    A lot more of the recovered property is still to be claimed and Police believe that the charges are going to increase.
