    Robbers get away with $5 000 from Gutu Bakery


    GUTU – Kariba Bakery which is at Mpandawana in Gutu was on Sunday morning robbed of $5 870 in cash by a gang of six armed men.
    The robbers struck at around 4am when workers were busy in the bakery.
    Police Spokesperson Chief Inspector Charity Mazula confirmed the incident and urged the public to deposit their money in the bank on daily basis.
    Tonderai Kadzingatsi (32), Delvin Muchazuwepi (20), Joseph Guze (26), Justice Mapfuti (24) and Francis Marange reported for duty at 9pm on Saturday. At around 430am the robbers broke a screen door and pointed a pistol at the employees. They tied them with strings and took three cell phones that were being charged.
    They broke a safe after breaking into the manager's office and collected the cash before disappearing.
