SHURUGWI – The new Tongogara Rural District Council (RDC) Tamiswa Njovana (31) is a qualified pilot and probably the youngest person in Zimbabwe to be chairing a local authority
Njovana was unanimously elected chairman at the council offices on Tuesday September 11 2018 and he replaces Shepard Mudhara.

"We are going to upgrade business centers into growth points in the coming five years and work on electrifying the whole district. We must do this now, the hour has come," said Njovana.
