    Gov fills 200 vacant D/head posts in Masvingo

    MASVINGO-The Masvingo Provincial Education Director, Zedius Chitiga has said the Ministry will start interviews to fill in 200 vacant deputy head posts for primary schools across the Province.
    "I can't tell you when we are going to start the interviews, but when we start it will only take three weeks and we will publish the names of those who would have been selected," said Chitiga.
    The Mirror is reliably informed by sources form Harare that the interviews will be conducted starting on Monday next week beginning with Bikita and followed by Gutu districts.
    Chitiga said for a primary school to qualify to have a deputy head there should be a minimum enrolment of 281 pupils and for one to be considered for the post one must possess a relevant degree and be a senior teacher.
    The interviews will be done by a panel of representatives from the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare as well as the Public Service Commission.
