    Zvishavane man gets 10 years for stock theft

    ZVISHAVANE - Crispen Matongo (33) who stays in Maglas Townshipin Zvishavane has beensentenced to 10 years in prison by Zvishavane Magistrate Archie Wochiunga after being found guilty of stock theft. 
     Matongo was convicted after pleading not guilty for contravening section 134 of the criminal reform act defined as stock theft.
    It is the state case that on 22 May this year Matongo the complainant Muchengete Svusvu (80) of Mhondongori village under chief Wedza in Zvishavane had instructed his grandson Lucky to take the bovines for grazing and he drove them near mimosa and left them unattended.
    In the evening Lucky proceeded to Mimosa dip tank intending to take the back the cattle but he got the shock of his life as he couldn't locate all of the cattle.
