Triangle FC ropes in former son Bakacheza

    WALTER MAFEKING

CHIREDZI- Midfielder Hillary Bakacheza who was considered excess baggage at Castle Lager Premiership log leaders, FC Platinum has been roped in by his former club, Triangle FC on loan for the remainder of the season.
Taurai Mangwiro the Sugar Sugar Boys gaffer confirmed to The Mirror that Bakacheza who was not getting game time at FC Platinum has been loaned for free to bolster the team's midfield.
Mangwiro also added that they are at an advanced stage to sign Praise Tonha who plays as a midfielder for Caps United before the mid-season window period closes on July 31, 2018.
"Hillary Bakacheza has joined us on loan and his relationship with the club expires by the end of season.
"We are also planning to lure Praise Tonha from Caps United and the talks are still in progress," said Mangwiro.
In the year 2015, Bakacheza was caught in juju scam as he was said to have acquired services of a sangoma only identified as  Baba Banda to secure his move to FC Platinum.
Triangle FC is set to face ZPC Kariba FC at Nyamhunga Stadium on August 4, 2018.
Mangwiro's squad has so far registered 10 wins, 2 draws and 8 loosses and they are sitting on 6th position.
Sugar Sugar boys had gone for several games without defeat but were stopped by Ngezi Platinum who walloped them by 3-1 followed by another 0-1 loss to Highlanders on home soil last weekend.
Despite the loss, Mangwiro did not only applaud his players for a stellar performance but also showered praises on Highlanders goalie Ariel Sibanda for his scintillating performance including saving a penalty from Russel Madamombe.
The defeat for Triangle also saw them being leapfrogged by Highlanders who are now on fourth position on the table.
However, Triangle gaffer Mangwiro is still confident that his team is capable of finishing in the top four.
"Last season we failed to finish in top four but this season we still have high hopes of finishing in top four and we are still in the race for the title," added Mangwiro.
