MASVINGO- Despite leading one of Masvingo United's worst seasons as they are perched on 3rd position from bottom after 14 league games, coach Wilson Chinosengwa has ambitiously revealed that a top four finish is still possible in the ZIFA Eastern Region Division 1 League.
"Our first leg campaign is not pleasing but that cannot rule us out of the title race.
"Come the end of the season I guarantee you that my squad will finish in top four," confidently said Chinosengwa.
He added that all the teams in the league are capable of winning promotion into the top flight Castle Lager Premiership at the end of the season.
Chinosengwa told The Mirror that apathy affected his team's performance in the first half of the season as they struggled to have quality players registered.
"We experienced player apathy as we struggled to have all our players registered and this impacted negatively on our campaign.
"Fortunately we have managed to beef up our squad by having all our players registered," added Chinosengwa.
From the 14 matches played, the team only  registered two wins, three draws and lost eight.
In their last encounter, Una Una lost 2-0 to Surrey FC.
They are facing 11th placed Prime Rangers on Sunday at Mucheke Stadium.
