    NASH ball games dates adjusted as schools close early


    MASVINGO-The National Association of Secondary School Heads (NASH) ball games have been shifted as schools will be closing on July 26 this term due to the harmonized elections slated for July 30.
     There will be three soccer trophies which are sponsored by Delta Beverages, Proton Bakery and Surrey.
    District competitions for NASH U20 soccer, volley ball U20 both boys and girls tournaments which were supposed to be held last Friday were postponed to 22 June with provincial  competitions to be held at Chibi High in Chivi District on 6 July and  nationals penciled for Vembe High in Matebeleland South in Beitbridge.
    NASH Handball U17 for both girls and boys finals will be held in Mash West at Nyamhunga Stadium in the resort town of Kariba from August.
    Basketball U14 and volley ball U20 boys and girls provincials are to be held on 29 June at Pamushana High in Bikita while nationals will be hosted by Chibi High next term. 
    Proton and Surrey tournaments for U20 both boys' and girls' zonals are set for September and district competitions on 21 September for basketball, volley ball and soccer.
    Provincial competitions for soccer to be held at St Antony in Zaka on 21 September with finals from 26-27 September in Mutare at Mutare Boys High.
    Basketball and volley ball for both boys' and girls' provincial competitions are to be held at Dewure High in Gutu on 21 September with finals at the same venue from 28-30 September this year.  
    Copa Coca-Cola provincial finals will be held at Pamushana High on 22 June. Chidyamakono High School boys' soccer team will represent Chivi District together with Mudadisi Secondary for girls' netball and Nationals on  29 June in Zvishavane. 
    In Gutu South Gutu High will represent the district in boys' soccer whereas Rufaro High in the girls category, Dewure and Munyikwa will represent Gutu North in boys and girls respectively.
    Masvingo district will be represented by Nyabata High in boys and Mudavanhu High in netball.
    Former soccer giants, Hippo Valley High  will represent Chiredzi District and Terry Goss will represent the district in netball while St Antony High in soccer and Rusere High in netball will represent Zaka District.
    The host district Bikita will be represented by Mashoko High and Pamushana in soccer and Birivenge High in netball
