Mkoba MP Chibaya donates chairs and desks

GWERU – MDC-T MP for Mkoba, Amos Chibaya has used part of his community development fund from Parliament to buy desks and chairs for Takunda A and B Primary Schools.
The furniture was donated at a colourful ceremony held at the school and this included 285 chairs and 81 desks. He said that he received $50 000 from Government for the development of his constituency.
"We are here today because every MP recently received $50 000 for community development and in my constituency l decided to start with developing schools.
I came here and saw that children were learning while sitting on the floor because there are no chairs and desks. Teachers have been asking kids to bring pieces of clothes on which they would sit," said Chibaya.
Parents applauded Chibaya for the donation.
"I am happy the MP has donated to this school, its very true that our kids had no chairs and desks the issue now is that parents are no longer paying school fees so its difficult for a school in the high-density suburb like ours to develop or buy such basic furniture," said Violet Magura a parent.local news

    1. This desk is great! It's sturdy and holds all my stuff with room to spare. The only complaint is that the instructions are IKEA
