    GZU Warrior Queens fine run ends

    GZU Warrior Queens stopped
    MASHAVA- High flying GZU Warrior Queens' winning streak came to an end in their backyard in Mashava when they fell by 21-42 to Zvishavane based Platinum Queens in the Rainbow Amateur Netball League last week on Saturday.
    "Although we played well we could not match our opponents who were superior in shooting as they converted almost all their chances," said Eunice Mbedzi the player coach for GZU Warriors.
    Delta Bitu was adjudged the best player for that game and for her efforts she walked away with some prizes.
    However, in the second game the Colleta Musara managed GZU Queens were consoled as they put the loss behind them and savaged Mashava based Bere Queens 88-11 with Ruth Murapisi who plays as a goal keeper (GK) being voted the best player.
