BUHERA – A prominent Zanu PF Central Committee member for Buhera, Saul Nzuma was humiliated at a party meeting held at Chinyadza Township under Chief Makumbe where he was labelled a G40 sell-out who caused the expulsions of cadres from the party.
Nzuma was dressed down by another Central Committee member and war veteran, Emilda Gondo who said she alongside Buhera West MP Oliver Mandipaka were some of the officials who were supposed to be fired from the party or even killed because they did not support former First Lady Grace Mugabe.
Gondo who was visibly angry described Nzuma as a Grace Mugabe loyalist who should not be allowed to contest Zanu PF primaries that are to take place anytime soon. She also accused Nzuma of being a side-kick of deposed Minister of State for Manicaland, Mandiitawepi Chimene.
Mandipaka who addressed the meeting also agreed with Gondo.
Nzuma who sat next to Gondo did not respond to the accusations but only urged members to unite and vote for President Mnangagwa.
The meeting was held to look into BVR progress, restructuring of district committees and explain to Buhera villagers the new political dispensation.
The meeting was graced by Buhera District war veterans chairman Nelson Mahamba and other party officials.
Gondo said she almost lost her job as a teacher because of Nzuma.
She claimed that G40 had plans to kill 482 people suspected members of Lacoste.
Sources said Nzuma was also eyeing Mandipaka's seat.
