    SA based Masvingo gospel artist drops first album

    – South Africa based Zimbabwean upcoming gospel musician Delight Mhere (25) has dropped his first 8 track album entitled Mazuva Ekupedzisira.
     The Masvingo born artist is enjoying a place in the sun as his debut project has been well received by gospel fans across the board.
    "I can confirm that I have received positive feedback from gospel lovers from different congragations and this has come as a surprise because as a first album I never thought it would reach such heights. This has encouraged me a lot and I would  like to thank God for all this," said Mhere during a visit at The Mirror.
    The eight tracks on the album are; Ndiyoyi Hondo, Tirangarirei, Nguva Yekuguma, Wanano, Wanotirwira, Ruchiva Negodo, Makuwerere and Nzira Yatinofamba.
    The album was produced by Gibson Makumbe and recorded at Voice of Thunder (VOT) Studio in Zengeza 3, Chitungwiza.
    Mhere is a member of the Apostolic Faith Ministries, who started singing when he was doing Grade 7 at Gaba Primary in Hippo Valley where he enjoyed lip-syncing with other kids.
    Mhere's talent was identified by his uncle's son, Obvious Chikondo who then took him to V.O.T Studio in 2015.
     "I chose gospel music because it does not only benefit me, but everyone who listens to it as it is a way of spreading the word of God thereby saving lives," said Mhere.
    Mhere who hails from Chasiyatende in Chivi is a contarctor in South Africa where he is based.
