MASVINGO - Mucheke based social soccer outfit Mustafa FC has won their maiden league in fashion after amassing an unassailable 90 points from 38 games with two games to spare.
The team finished 8 points ahead of second placed Chivara FC while RCZ Dutch FC finished on third position with More Fire on fourth position.
"The boys have performed beyond our expectations since the formation of the club some four years ago. I would like to pay tribute to the fans, players and executive for the support during the course of the season," said Collen Maboke, founder and owner of Mustafa FC.
Outstanding players like Providence Maboke, Rodrick Chadya, Vengai Hove who netted 23 goals during the season and midfield maestro Emmanuel 'Kaka' Katamiha propelled the team to greater heights in  the league and were more competitive with their skills.
Mustafa gaffer Nelson Chadya said the league has become very competitive and Division 1 clubs are enquiring about the services of such players as Donny "Donara" Masimba and Farai Musutu.
Emmanuel Katamiha, said "It's not only about grooming players but the community has also benefited from the social league through entertainment and also as ghetto youths we have found something to kill time with rather than loitering around streets".
"We have produced great talent with some going on to excel in Division 1, unfortunately the league is not sponsored hence we call upon those with means to come to our assistance," said Maboke.
