Shabani to collect all remaining home points- coach

ZVISHAVANE - Shabani Mine FC head coach Takesure Chiragwi has urged his troops to collect maximum points in all their remaining  home fixtures in order to survive the chop from the Premier Soccer League.
Speaking in an interview, Chiragwi said the club has finally found its winning formula as evidenced by positive results achieved in their last three encounters.
Shabani FC beat Ngezi 1-0 at home, drew with Chapungu in Gweru before clobbering Sunday Chidzambwa coached ZPC Kariba 2-1 in the Chibuku Super Cup first round. Chinda boys will face Dynamos in their fight against relagation at Maglas.
Statistics show that the Zimbabwe Giants Dembare last won in 2006 at Maglas and over the years the match would end as a draw or in favour of Shabani. Shabani will also play bitter rivals FC Platinum and Chicken Inn at home.
"We are going to take each game as it comes. Dynamos is a good club and we cannot bank on statistics. What we want is to maximise our home advantage especially against these big clubs," said Chiragwi.
Chiragwi said that the win against ZPC  shows how determined the club is to collect silverware and probably play in the Confederations Cup next year.
"It is every team's dream to collect trophies and the win against ZPC motivated the boys to see a possibility of repeating what happened in 2013 when the club won the Banc ABC trophy and also the BP cup a decade ago," said Chiragwi.
Meanwhile, Shabani FC Technical Manager Taku Shariwa has rubbished allegations that there is bad blood between him and Chiragwi.
"There is no bad blood between us but of course wherever there are two people there is bound to be differences of approach from time to time and that is not bad blood. We are working well together," said Shariwa.
Shariwa urged the Chinda Boys fans to keep rallying behind the club until the end.
