Amusement as Mupandawana AFM congregants shift to new ministry

GUTU-Hundreds of former AFM congregants were gathered at Mupandawana High School grounds where a former pastor recently launched a new ministry.
Redius Mavhurama a former AFM pastor has formed his own ministry Emmanuel Ministry which was officially launched last week and some AFM followers have deserted their church to join their former pastor's new ministry.
A source close to Mavhurama said that people came in large numbers including others from different churches.
"Yes about 90% of the AFM congregants have joined Emmanuel ministries `because Mavhurama is a man of God and we believe in him" said the source.
In an interview with the mirror Mavhurama's spokesperson Justice Rwanyanya confirmed that Mavhurama was called by God to form a new ministry.
"He formed a new church not because of need of money or what as some  people think but it's a call from God "said Rwanyanya".
"Many people are following and these include other AFM members and people from the general public.
A member of the AFM who opted not to be named for fear of harassment told The Mirror that many members from AFM including board members of the AFM Gutu are following the new ministry.
"Some of the members from AFM have joined  and there are a few people left at AFM Mupandawana as we speak now, they are now going to the new ministry "said the source.
The Mirror understands that former AFM pastor Mavhurama has formed a new ministry after some misunderstandings arose within the AFM church when some church members argued that he was against the church doctrine.
