    AFM Mpandawana pastor resists transfer

GUTU – Trouble is brewing at the AFM Parish at Mpandawana Growth Point in Gutu after concerted efforts to remove the pastor-in-charge were resisted.
Church officials refused to discuss the matter with The Mirror although allegations are that Regias Mamvura is being transferred because he is healing congregants and this is against the church doctrine.
Sources said that the church is now divided into two groups with one supporting Mamvura and the other opposing him. The group that is against Mamvura is said to have applied to the Police to stage a demonstration against him.
Efforts to get a comment from Mamvura were fruitess.
The Mirror understands that Mamvura has since been notified of his pending transfer by his seniors. However, The Mirror understands that the transfer has been put on halt after Mamvura engaged a lawyer.
Donald Ndoni an overseer from Masvingo who went to Mpandawana to try and address the issues was allegedly blocked from entering the church.
Ndoni refused to give a comment on the matter to The Mirror.
