    Prominent Murambinda Zanu PF women’s league member dies

    MURAMBINDA- A prominent member of the Zanu PF women's league received a rousing send off when she died and was buried at Murambinda Growth Point on Sunday.
    Irene Man'on'o (popularly known as Mbuya vaFoko) who died at the age of 73 was also a vendor at the Growth Point.
    The Chief Executive Officer of Buhera Rural District Council Emily Chibvongodze attended the funeral and expressed her condolences to the grieving family.
    Man'on'o died after a short illness. She is said to have suffered from high blood pressure and diabetes.
    She collapsed on her way to church two weeks ago and was never able to speak since then.
    Saul Nzuma, a Zanu PF Central Committee member said that the death of Irene was a great loss not to the Man'on'o family only but also to the Zanu PF family in Buhera.
    The deceased was born in Man'on'o Village under Chief Nyashanu and she never attended school.
