BUHERA- The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education which promised to send auditors to Makanda Primary School under Chief Makumbe in Buhera after parents demonstrated against the school head has not yet done so because the auditors are still engaged at another school.
The head Chamunorwa Mukazi is accused of a litany of offences.
The District Schools Inspector Godfrey Chimbwanda told The Mirror that auditors were going to the school last week but there were no auditors when The Mirror checked.
Chimbwanda said that the auditors must now finish work at the current station where they are auditing another school before they go to Makanda.
"The audit team is at Barura Primary school in Buhera North and when they are done they will then move to Makanda School.
"We are aware of the fact that the auditing team has not yet arrived at Makanda and we are hoping that they might be there soon after they are done with the job they are doing at Barura," said Chimbwanda.
Ushe Nyamande (42) who is a parent at Makanda Primary School expressed concern on the delay in sending the auditors.
