Minister Bimha to hold party for his doctorate

CHIVHU – The Minister of Industry and Commerce who is also the MP for Chikomba West Constituency Mike Bimha will hold a party in October this year to celebrate his doctorate. The party will also gear the constituency towards the 2018 national elections.
This was said by the MP for Chikomba Central Tapiwa Felix Mhona during a progress review meeting in his constituency last Saturday.
He said preparations for the party were already at an advanced stage although the exact date of the party is still to be agreed upon.
The review meeting on Saturday was attended by ZANU PF provincial members, representatives from Government departments, executive members of Chikomba Development Association, chief Kareya and councillors.
Representatives for Government departments made presentations on projects that they are carrying out in the district.
"The agenda of our meeting is to see where we are heading in terms of development projects that we have done so far. We also looked at the forthcoming elections and planned on how to use the money promised by Government for development projects," said Mhona.
Chief Kareya who spoke at the meeting welcomed Government promises to support development projects in the area. He however, warned people at the meeting to vote for people that they know.
