    Chirumanzu councillor’s car, house vandalised

    MVUMA – Tremendous Musara, the councilor for Ward 13 in Chirumanzu is living in fear for his life after two men suspected to be political opponents ripped open his car tyres and smashed its windows.
    After cutting the tyres of the Mark 2 the suspects allegedly went on to smash windows to his house at DA's complex in Mvuma. The incident happened on Saturday night.
    Musara confirmed the incident to The Mirror and said he actually saw Edy Jenjedzwa and Fafao Vurayai who are locals at the scene. They allegedly ran away when he called out their names.
    Efforts to get a comment from Jenjedzwa and Vurayai were fruitless.
    Musara said he reported the matter to the Police under case number RRB 2676133. He also said before that he had been threatened earlier in the day by Fanwell Thami who allegedly said that they were going to see to it that the councilor is killed.
    The case of threat was also reported to the Police under RRB number 2675132.
    Efforts to get a comment from Thami were fruitless.
