    Mvuma lands officer acquitted on one charge

    MVUMA – Mvuma District lands officer Oscar Zenda was together with two alleged accomplices acquitted of charges of defrauding villagers who wanted to get offer letters.
    The three appeared before Mvuma Magistrate Tayengwa Chibanda.
    Chibanda said that there was no history establishing communication between the accused persons and the complainants.
    The other two accomplices Innocent Gocheke (39) and Misheck
    Muromo (39) were set free while Zenda was remanded in custody awaiting trial of his second fraud charges.
    Allegations were that during the period extending from
    August 1 to 16 this year, the three connived to defraud the complainant Catherene Manjengwa (38) of Hydon Village in Mvuma in the first count.crime news
