    GZU students drop first album

    MASVINGO – Great Zimbabwe University students musical outfit, Team Fusion has released an album called Dangwe that is set to compete strongly within the market.
    One of Team Fusion mentors, Shadreck Dzingai predicted that it will be a hit with music fans as it covers different music genres, from Afro Traditional, R'n'B, gospel, house and reggae.
    Team Fusion is a University band comprising five female and five male, musicology students and others drawn from other Departments.
    Dzingai said the group was named Team Fusion because of its ability to sing different music genres.
    The album is aptly named Dangwe meaning the first child as it is the group's first album. The album has eight tracks all sung by students under the mentorship of music lecturers Dzingai and Praise Zinhuku.
    The album was recorded by an award winning producer Munya Vialy at Vialy Studios in Harare. They have produced albums for top artists like Sulumani Chimbetu's Nyuchi and.Jah Prayzah's Tsviriyo, Kumbumura Mhute, and Eriza. Besides the two top artistes, Viay has also worked with Energy Mutodi, Somandla Ndebele, Diana Samkange, Pah Chihera and Tocky Vibes.entertainment news
