MASVINGO - Gloria Rudhambi (13) from Jerera, Zaka is seeking for money to undergo treatment for a rare bone disease which she has been suffering from since 2007 when she was only four years old.
Gloria was brought to The Mirror offices in the company of her mother Vimbai Zanga after she was told of the regional paper's success stories in seeking medical help on behalf of the vulnerable in society. Zanga said her daughter had a mysterious cry in 2007 and from then on she has never walked or said a word as she became incapacitated.
Rudhambi was referred to Bulawayo from Masvingo General Hospital after an X-Ray detected that her back borne bones were affected by friction and had a dislocated waist.
Zanga said despite visits to several hospitals for help no disease was detected.
"I have been to Harare General Hospital,Musiso Hospital,  Ndanga Rural Hospital and Masvingo Rural Hospital but the problem still could not be detected," said Zanga.
Zanga has no close relatives who can assist her.
For those who wish to assist her she can be contacted on 0776 106 167 or 0775140994local news
