    Tocky Vybz lights up Masvingo at Hevoi FM show


    MASVINGO - Zimdancehall star Tocky Vybz born Obey Makamure, brought the house down with a splendid performance before a fully packed Manhede beer hall in Mucheke, leaving the venue in a near explosion on Friday night last week.
    The show was part of the popularisation of  Hevoi FM a new radio station for Masvingo province.
    "We brought Tocky for the first time in Mucheke in this 'open mic' event together with over 30 local artist so that they can perfect their act before a big crowd.
    This is also a way of bringing the radio station to the owners in a fashionable manner by promoting local talent which is one of our main focus as a provincial station," said Tendai Madondo the managing director for Hevoi FM in Masvingo and 98.4 FM in the Midlands. 
    The show roared into life in the late hours of Friday evening with Masvingo upcoming artists taking to stage triggering the dance floor into life as fans went wild to the Masvingo upcoming dancehall chanters.
    The Masvingo upcoming chanters continued to impress, before the fans started clamouring for Tocky to come on stage singing the young  artiste Zimdancehall song 'Waenda Nenyika', in between Masvingo upcoming chanter's performances.
    Tocky then appeared on stage in the early hours of Saturday morning to a thunderous applause and he did not disappoint as he put up spirited three hour nonstop performance. Manhede beer hall which was filled to capacity and the noise threatened to bring down the house as fans whistled and ululated when Tocky stepped up the stage.
     The 'Mhai' hit maker proved why he is one of the best dancehall artists in the country as he gave fans a performance to always remember as fans joined him on stage to sing along in the packed three hour performance.
