    N. Richards opens another supermarket in Masvingo CBD


    MASVINGO - There was a beehive at N.Richards Group's official opening of the company's third cash and carry outlet in the city last week on Tuesday situated along Hughes Street at the former Amico wholesale.
    Shoppers could be seen pushing and shoving to be the first to grab the trolleys as prices were on special for the opening.
    Suppliers were also exhibiting during the official opening giving away prizes to lucky shoppers.
    "The process of establishing this branch took about 2 months at a cost of …and the official was an exciting event as customers responded in numbers which is quite encouraging," said N Richards director, Andrew Chekani during the official opening.
     He added that despite stiff competition in the retail sector N Richards strives to offer their customers the best services.
     "We always thrive to satisfy our cherished customers and we try as much as possible to supply quality local products hence our motto 'Pasina imi vatengi hapana zvatiri'," said Chekani.
    "I would want to appreciate our products suppliers for their support and delivering the stock timeously and to thank all those who attended the official opening," added Chekani.
    One of the customers, Dorline Chigwegwe a small scale businesswoman based at Ngundu Halt said that the opening of the Cash and Carry outlet came as a surprise to many customers since they were not expecting it to be opened in a short period of time.
    "N Richards has made a surprise for us which is also an advantage to everyone, it is now available at all Masvingo entry points which are Mutare road, Harare road and Beitbridge road," said Chigwegwe.business news
