Chivhu Residents Association meets Min Ncube

CHIKOMBA - Chivhu Residents and Rate Payers' Association (CHIRRA) whose executive made objections to the Chikomba Rural District Council (CRDC) 2017 budget was scheduled to meet the Minister of Rural Development, Abednigo Ncube in Harare on Wednesday (yesterday).
The Mirror could not  by the time of going to Press  establish the results of the meeting.
Some of CHIRRA's objections to the Chikomba budget were that information on budget consultations was not properly disseminated and their objections were not seriously handled.
CHIRRA Chairman Collen Zvarevashe confirmed the appointment with the Minister in an interview with The Mirror.
He said the objections have also been copied to all Chikomba MPs, Minister of Local Government Savior Kasukuwere, The Minister of State for Mashonaland East Brigadier Ambrose Mutinhiri and the Provincial Administrator.
The association highlighted that critical issues were not dealt with during the budget consultative meetings, for instance the performance and figures of the current budget was too generalized and information on budget consultations was improperly and poorly disseminated and most of the meetings were poorly attended.
