    Buhera man sets dogs on Police, hangs self after


    BUHERA - A man from Madheu village in Dorowa, Buhera under Chief  Nyashanu who was wanted on robbery charges would not go down easily after he attacked and set his vicious dogs on officers who had gone to arrest him.
    Samson Muchemwa (46) who however dreaded the prison later hang himself from the veranda of his house. Having been finally arrested, Muchemwa was given an opportunity to come to court this week on Monday with his witnesses. Instead of preparing for the court case he waited for his wife to go to the garden and he then hang himself.
    The court heard that on May 28, 2015 at around 7pm Muchemwa was approached by Constable Kudakwashe Murevesi and Constable Tapiwa Nyamadzawo who told him that they had come to arrest him for robbery.
    Muchemwa asked the Police officers to wait. He went behind his house and unleashed his dogs on the officers. Muchemwa also picked up a stick and struck constable Magaya once on the left thigh.
    Constable Magaya managed to disarm Muchemwa who was finally arrested.
