CBZ to donate 4 ambulances for roads patrol

MASVINGO – The Commercial Bank of Zimbabwe has donated an ambulance for highway patrol in the accident prone Masvingo – Beitbridge Road, Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe (TSCZ) managing director, Obio Chinyere has said.
The ambulance will be stationed in areas around Ngundu and will soon be handed over to TSCZ by the Bank, said Chinyere
"I can confirm that CBZ has bought a state of the art ambulance from Japan which will be patrolling areas which experience high number of accidents along the highway and this one will be donated to Ngundu Clinic for use around the area.
"We are very excited about this good gesture from CBZ and we appeal to all the corporates that can come on board to do so for the benefit of their clients and the public at large," said Chinyere.
He added that CBZ will procure four more ambulances which will be deployed in areas that are prone to accidents along the highway. He did not indicate where the other three will be send to.
Although the ambulance will be donated to Ngundu, the vehicle will not be operating from the clinic as it will be deployed along the highway at high danger zones for quick response in the event of an accident occurring Chinyere said.
