Winky D, Jah Prayzah leave Masvingo on fire

MASVINGO - The joint show by artistes of the moment, Wallace "Winky D" Chirumiko and Mukudzei "Jah Prayzah" Mukombe left Masvingo yearning for more as they put up a scintillating performance at Masvingo Music festival themed; 'Promoting Domestic Tourism Through Music' held at Caravan Park last Saturday.
'The Gaffer' as Winky D is affectionately known by his legion of fans, was the first on stage where he belted most of his songs in what was regarded as performance of the night compared to his counterpart.
The whole arena was filled with noise and ululations when Winky D stepped up to the stage and went on to prove why he identified himself as "extraterrestrial".
The Bigman did not leave his fans in suspense as he gave his fans what they had been waiting for, with some clamming that was the reason they have come to the show, his much awaited new album Gaffer Futi by dropping the tune Bob Marley Funeral soon after his first tune on stage.
The 'disappear' hit maker proved beyond reasonable doubt that he is one of the most celebrated dancehall artistes in the music industry and is far from burning out as he gave fans a performance to always remember and a value for their money.
Gaffer Party seemed to be the song of the night as the crowd responded overwhelmingly and sing and danced together with the artist with the chant Extraterrestrial dominating the stands.
Songs from his controversial new album which include: 25, Daddy, Panorwadza Moyo, Karma left the crowd in delirium and asking for more as the self-proclaimed Ninja President showed his vocal prowess which endeared him to many.
As it was not enough Jah Prayzah has his fair share of the night as the fans danced and sang along to his music.
He drew much attention of the crowd when he performed his popular song 'Mudhara Achauya' from his latest album which has been a hit song for the past months, not forgetting the likes of 'Goto', 'Jerusalem, 'Watora Mari', 'Ndoenda', 'Chinamira', 'Zenze' among others.entertainment news
