Harare-Beitbridge dualisation - Hungwe promises Zanu PF Mwenezi youth jobs

The Minister of Minister of State for Liaising on Psychomotor Activities in Education and Vocational Training, Josiah Hungwe has said Government now has funds to start the dualisation of the Harare - Beitbridge Road and vowed that jobs created there will just be for the ZANU-PFyouth.
He said this at a rally held at Chinyu in Mwenezi recently and added that there will be many lucrative deals from the project.
"The Government has sourced enough money to start the dualisation project that will improve our road networks such that they will match SADC region standards. This project will curb road canarges that are soaring to unprecedented levels. We will create jobs for our youths and whoever is not a supporter of the ZANU-PF is excluded", he said.
He said some people will be moved to make way for the road but they will be compensated. However many villagers expressed skeptismThe project was litterd by torrents and turbulances of lack of capital to finance its execution despite being allocated its chunk on the previous sussesive national budgets even under the inclusive government. Hungwe said the government at the moment have enough funds not only for road construction but also for compansating demolitions of all houses that are situated close to the highway.
As such, residents are fearing and doubting their confidents in a government that has failed once at a time to address the plight of Tokwe-Mukosi victims.Residents who claimed annonimity showed mistrust of the government's fidelity regarding compansations.
"Our prime fear is that a recuring Tokwe-Mukosi incident where no meaning full compernsations were done and the government had to read the riot Act to the victims"local news
