    Chitaure convicted for impersonation


    CHIVI - Veenseg Kison Chitaure (21) who resides at Chivi Growth Point has been slapped with a five year suspended sentence after being found guilty of impersonating as a Police officer on Monday this week.
    Reliable sources told The Mirror that Magistrate Bishard Chineka slapped Chitaure with a suspended five year jail term for posing as a CID officer at Chibi Turn Off on Saturday last week at Fusahai Lodges to two commercial sex workers Sphathokuhle Gurajena and another only identified as Paida.
    The Police report in possession of The Mirror under RRB 29794624 say that Chitaure went to Fushai Lodges and identified himself to the sex worker as an officer investigating a case of attempted murder on his sister identified as Anna which he claimed happened at Ngundu Business Centre on October 1 this year.
    Chitaure told Sphathokuhle that she was the one who wanted to kill her sister and he had come to arrest her and she was taken to the base station where upon Chitaure was arrested after he lied that he was based at Mashava CID which was proved to be wrong.crime news
