    – Acting Zanu PF Masvingo provincial chairman, Amasa Nenjana has been dragged to court by a Zaka motorist who is demanding compensation for damages caused to his vehicle after an accident in which the politician was allegedly negligent.
Nenjana was involved in an accident in May this year while driving an Audi at Mushungwa School along Zaka – Chiredzi road. He lost control of his vehicle which later encroached into the opposite lane and hit a Nissan Lafesta vehicle which was being driven by Freedson Chitukusa.
According to summons prepared by Nyawo Ruzive Attorneys and served Nenjana on August 22, 2016, Chitukusa is demanding $2 900 being damages for his vehicle. He said if it was not for Njenjana`s negligence he was not going to be involved in the accident and therefore he demands $2900 which will allow him to repair the vehicle.
Asked for a comment Nenjana confirmed receiving the summons but said he was going to file an appearance to defend anytime soon. He said despite having paid admission of guilt fine to police he felt that the value of the vehicle is being exaggerated and he can only pay the actual value.
