    Man faces 28 counts of unlawful entry in Rujeko

    MASVINGO - Isaac Dhliwayo (40) who allegedly terrorised Rujeko, stealing from different houses in the same suburb has been sentenced to three years in prison by Masvingo Magistrate Langton Ndokera.
    Dhliwayo comes from Mutoko Village under chief Makuyana in Chipinge and is alleged to have got away with property worth  $2 583. Dhliwayo took away cellphones, electronic gadgets and money.
    The court led by Nancy Makuvise heard that Dhliwayo went on his mission in April this year when he stole a Sony Xperia Z4 and Vingo S800 in Rujeko C, a Huawei on 11 May, Mobicel Chery on 21 May, Samsung Tablet GT N8000 on 3 June, Sony Xperia Z3 on 7 June, on 24 June he stole a Sony Xperia Z4, on 8 July he took a Samsung Young 2 and a Blackberry Z3, a G-tel 706 on 10 July, Nokia Lumia 520 on 13 July, on 1 August he stole US$120 and grocery, Samsung J7 on 3 August and Samsung Tablet-S on 5 August. He stole an ORRO Tablet and $297 on 11 August, Nokia Asha and $200 cash on 12 August among other incidents.
    Dhliwayo was arrested on August 12, 2016 after he was found selling a cellphone he had stolen from a house in Rujeko C.
    Magistrate Ndokera found him guilty and sentenced him to three years imprisonment.
