Gweru man commits suicide after testing HIV+

GWERU – A man from Ascot Suburb in Gweru has committed suicide after he had just tested HIV positive.
Leeroy Zviti (36) was found hanging from a tree at the Senga Nehosho roundabout along Gweru Shurugwi Highway this week on Wednesday morning. Zviti's body was identified by a passerby who said he was a friend to him. He then helped Police with details of the deceased's relatives and phone numbers.
The friend was the one who also told the Police that Zviti had tested positive a few weeks earlier and he failed to accept it.
