Prosper Macharika (28) has dropped his second gospel album entitled ''ZEGU Miracle Talents' which he launched at ZAOGA Pangolin Church in Masvingo last Sunday night.
Prophet J Moyounotsva graced the charismatically staged occasion which thrilled the crowd.
The album that praises the opening of Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University (ZEGU) which was officially opened in Bindura by President Robert Mugabe last year, is pregnant with 8 tracks that include 'ZEGU Chikoro', 'Prayer for Baba Guti', 'Mhururu', 'Toivaka ZEGU', 'Ane Hanya', 'Zita Renyu', 'Toshanda' and 'Huya Mweya'.
"I am happy with the new album and I am happy that God gave me the power to pull out all stops for my second album. He has been key to my success and hope the album will go a long way in assisting ZEGU since it is advertising the University," said Macharika.
Prosper Macharika is son to Lazarus Macharika who is an overseer
The album also features his twin brother's wife Nancy Pondo (23) who did lead vocals on 'Toivaka ZEGU' song and backing vocals on the rest of the album.
Macharika is a product of Zim Praise Choir since 2010. He left the group in 2013 to launch his solo career and dropped his first album in January 2015 entitled 'Weminana'.
"My son started showing his interest and talent when he was doing form 6 and I discouraged him because I wanted him to concentrate on school business but later I considered it as God`s call," said Christwish Macharika, Prosper's mother.entertainment news
