Miss Heroes, put youths on the rightful place on what is happening in the country, Mhonderwa added.
"The event is the first of its kind in the province. It is very important in concretising the youths about the values of the liberation struggle and in the process fostering a sense of patriotism among them," said deputy resident director, Edgar Zidya.
However, Zidya commented that efforts should be made for such programs to start at district level to ensure inclusivity.
One of the adjudicators Trymore Mazani saluted Mhonderwa and Moreblessing Magutso for the splendid job they are doing of grooming the youngsters who participated.
"Our wish is to have better sponsorship as you can see that they are so talented," said Mazani.
