    Manyuchi donates bus to Chikomba RDC

    –True to his promise to build a sports academy in the sleepy town of Chivhu and to support sport, man of the moment and boxing legend Charles Manyuchi has donated a bus to Chikomba Rural District Council which will be, among other things, used to transport athletes.
    He promised that more donations will be coming in that line.
    Some of the mooted donations include plans to construct a security wall at the President's offices in town and donate a soccer kit to Liebenberg High School.
    The handover of the bus was done at the council offices where several senior Government officials were present like the District Administrator Clemence Masiiwa.
    Makokove, Council chairman Alderman Pardon Mudzimu, Council CEO Luckson Mutara, chiefs and councilors among many others.
    Addressing the gathereing Manyuchi said he decided to hand over the bus to the council so that they can use it for purposes of developing the district.
    He said the bus was also to be used in transporting soccer players in Chikomba.
    He also said through such donations, he is giving back to the community that is very supportive of him.
    "I have decided to handover the bus to the council so that they may use it for their own purpose in advancing development in Chivhu and to ease transportation to various functions," he said.
    He also promised to provide tickets to some Council officials to go to Zambia in August to watch his rematch fight against a Tanzanian Boxer Ibrahim Mgendera whom he beat in 57 seconds on May 2, 2015.
