    Beitbridge based upcoming artist Mandangu to release first album


    - Regis Mandangu (17) an 'A' level student at Vhemba High School an upcoming talented artiste is set to release his first ever album in August this year recorded by Dulibadzimu records.
    Mandangu who is popularly known as Mark G Junior President by his legion of fans in the border town confirmed the developments to The Mirror.
    "I am going to release an eight track album in August laced with fireworks with Benefits being the flagship of the album which talks about friendship benefits where two long-time friends accidentally turn into lovebirds," said Mark G.
    The other songs in the album are, Ben 10, Hamuna Kuoneka, Mari, Party, Vabereki, Musiyei, Friends with benefits and lastly PaGhetto.
    Although Mark G has been in the music industry since the age of 10 he has not been able to record because of financial difficulties, now he has received financial assistance from his brother Marcus Mandangu.
     'It is an inborn thing, l was born with a passion for singing," he says
    Mark G added that he once recorded a collaboration with Sandra Gazi aka Lady Squanda in the song Ndeipi Baby, Leprechaun and Dr Clarence in 2013 when he was contracted to her before parting ways in 2014 over some misunderstanding.
    He also said his songs mainly dwell on what is happening in the society, freedom of women, corruption as reflected in his song 'Parikurwadza Paghetto'.
