    Zaka RDC opens first pay toilet

    – There are high expectations that hygiene will improve tremendously after Zaka Rural District Council opened the first public pay toilets at Jerera Growth Point.
    The project is also expected to generate funds for council.
    It cost $0, 50 to use the toilet and US$1 to have a bath.
    Zaka RDC Chief executive officer, David Majaura told The Mirror that the toilets were built as a way of improving hygiene in the Growth Point.
    "We built this toilet as a source of money and in order to improve sanitation in our Growth Point," said Majaura.
    Interviewed by The Mirror one of Jerera rank marshal Tongoona Tongona Ganyata said that they can now bath at any time  because they are having  bathrooms at their working area and also the toilet is always clean.
