    – Zaka Rural District Council Chief Executive Officer David Majaura cheated death last Wednesday when his vehicle was involved in an accident on his way to Kadoma.
Majaura confirmed the incident to The Mirror and said it happened in a dust road which links Mvuma and Kwekwe on his way to attend Zimbabwe Switzerland Collaboration in Local Government Disseminations Workshop (ZSCLGDW).
He said he lost control of the vehicle, a Toyota Hilux twin cab at Down Rise and the vehicle veered off the road resulting in it hitting a tree. He came out of the accident unscathed and proceeded to Kadoma for the workshop.
"I can confirm that I was involved in an accident while driving an official vehicle to Kadoma to attend ZSCLGDW. We were travelling along a dust road which links Mvuma and Kwekwe when after just after a down rise the vehicle swerved and I lost control that`s when it hit a small tree which was beside the road. I came out without any scratch but the vehicle was a bit damaged," said Majaura.
