    Former Tsungai Supermarkets accountant killed in Mvuma accident

    - Former Tsungai Supermarkets accountant and vice chairman of National Council of Disabled Persons in Zimbabwe (NCDPZ), Tungamirai Kurunzirwa has died.
    He died in a car accident in Mvuma last Friday evening on his way from Harare.
    This was confirmed by Vengai Kurunzirwa a brother to the deceased.
    "Tungamirai died on the spot when the Subaru he was travelling in was involved in a head on collision with a Landcruiser which was heading to Harare," said the brother.
    He was 35.
    He was laid to rest in Mafa Village under Chief Nyakunhuwa in Zaka on Sunday.
    The late Kurunzirwa worked as an accountant for Tsungai Supermarkets from 1998 to 2005 before he joined Check Out and Check In stores and many other organisations in the same capacity.
    He was president of Tasvika Housing Cooperative.
    Edmond Mhere described Tungamirai as a hard worker who would perform his duties like any other person without complaining.
    Wilbert Fenga who was in the same car with Tungamirai sustained multiple fractures on both legs and on the arm and is admitted at a hospital in Bulawayo.
