    Chiredzi Pastor in $200 fraud

    – Shadreck Maparadze (34), a pastor with Holy Founded Bible Ministry in Chiredzi has been convicted of fraud involving $200.
    He was given a suspended four months jail term.
    Maparadze appeared before Magistrate Geraldine Mutsoto facing two charges one of fraud and another of corruptly concealing a transaction from a principal.
    The State led by Doubt Phiri told the court that on January 15, 2015 Maparadze who was employed by Peksave Private Limited sold a steering damper to Christopher Mashava for $200 but later misrepresented to Kennedy Javangwe owner of Peksave that he had not sold the steering damper and converted the money for his own use. The State further said that Maparadze failed to disclose such a transaction to Peksave Private Limited who was his principal.
    Maparadze repeatedly told the court that he is a pastor.
