    Mirror honours Kwekwe Poly intern

    – The Mirror has acknowledged the hard work, commitment, honesty and integrity of a Kwekwe Polytechnic student, Nyengeterai Makura who served her internship in the accounts department without making one error.
Nyengeterai is studying for a diploma in Marketing Management and is now in her final year.
Having joined The Mirror in June 2015, Nyengeterai was placed in the accounts department where she was responsible for collecting money and balancing the books. She was also required to work on Saturdays and she turned up religiously.
Mirror Consultant, Commissioner Matthew Takaona described Nyengeterai as a rare student who was just focused on her work. He said if there is a place after she completes her studies there would be no reason why the company would not take her.
Company chairman, Rodgers Matsikidze threw a small function and gave her cash prize as an acknowledgement of her exemplary work.
"You are a shining star and a hard worker who can work for any organisation because of your positive attitude. This organisation will not hesitate to take you if there are places when you finish," said Takaona.
In response Nyengeterai said she would miss The Mirror and thanked the organisation for the support that it gave her.
