    Fireworks as Macheso takes his new album to Masvingo


    - In a move to take his recently launched 'Tsoka Dzerwendo' to his fans across the country, Sungura 'king' and Red Cross Ambassador Alick Macheso will perform at Masvingo's Ritz Nite Club next week on Friday.
    The potentially intriguing show pegged at $5 and scheduled for 8pm till late, is most likely to see Macheso affectionately known as 'Baba Sharo' showcasing his new project in the southern part of the country for the second time after his recent show in Chivi.
    The long awaited album which was launched in a full capacity Harare International Conference Centre on Friday March 25, 2016 has since taken people of different generations by storm and in this showcase 'Tsoka Dzerwendo' will be complimented by other hits from his previous productions.
     Masvingo fans will have the exceptional feel of Macheso's talent which will be steered by the return of former band members Jonasi Kasamba, Obert Gomba and their newly introduced dance called "Mushikashika". In an interview with The Mirror the Sungura king's band manager Lucky Macheso promised fireworks.
    "We are trying to turn the fortunes of Sungura with our new master piece, complimented of-course by other hits from previous albums and to prove to our fans that 'Mdara' Macheso is man of the moment of all time. We promise fireworks and we want to leave Masvingo 'burning'", said Lucky.
    'Tafadzwa' hitmaker's  'Tsoka Dzerwendo' is pregnant with mature lyrical content that captivates not only his fans but also those that appreciate art. Songs that make-up the album are 'Baba', 'Kurarama Inyasha', 'Mude-Mude', 'Wandirangaridza', 'Munyaradzi' and 'Gungwa'.
    Macheso's previous albums include 'Kwatakabva Mitunhu', 'Zvinoda Kutendwa', 'Ndezvashe-eh', 'Vapupuri Pupurai', 'Zvido Zvenyu Kunyanya', 'Zvakanaka Zvakadaro', 'Simbaradzo', 'Vakiridzo' and 'Magariro'.
    Meanwhile Bev and Nicholas 'Madzibaba' Zacharia will perform this week in the same venue with the 'Eriza' hitmaker Jah Prayzah also set to perform in the city on Friday, May 14.entertainment news
