    Shurugwi suspected murderer arrested in Mashava

    – A man who was part of a nine-member gang accused of murdering a patron at Chirasha Bar in  Musasa was arrested in Mashava last week.
    Vitalis Nyandoro (22) of Vl 7A Doneni, Kadoma was brought before Shurugwi Magistrates Court facing one count of murder.
    It is the State case that on January  25 2016, at Chirasha Bar, Nyandoro and eight other accused persons acting in common purpose proceeded to Musasa Business Centre, Shurugwi to assault Tinotenda Chidhaya (now deceased).
    According to reports the accused persons came as a gang for pay back after one of their member was assaulted by the deceased during a beer drink.
    Upon arrival the accused persons found the deceased person alone and they started assaulting him.
    The deceased was assaulted with booted, machetes and sticks all over his body and Nyandoro allegedly stabbed him on the right side with an okapi knife.
    After seeing that the deceased was now powerless the accused left him and he was admitted at Parerenyatwa where he died the following day.
    Nyandoro was however on the run since the day of committing the offence only to be arrested in Mashava after Police organised a manhunt.
    Nyandoro was remanded in custody to April 1, 2016.
    The Magistrate was Matura Tinaye and Betha Bore prosecuted.crime news
