    - A company based in Mucheke which is involved in the recycling of waste plastic material is appealing for funding in order to construct their own offices, to be used for storing collected material.
Masvingo Urban Recycle Company which employs over 170 people also need money to build a toilet for their staff and a burning machine for material ready for recycling that they send to Harare.
Florence Chiwera the chairperson of Masvingo Urban Recycle Company told The Mirror that the toilet they are using belongs to Action Firm Garden. She also said they are playing a big role in keeping the environment clean hence the need for those who can to assist them to grow.
Chiwera said they have been getting assistance from Environmental Management Agency, Care International and Masvingo City Council in the form of cement, sinks they use to wash plastics before they are burnt but that has since stopped.
The company started operations in September 2015 and until now they have not directly benefited anything from the venture.
"Since we started we have not benefited yet but we hope that if we get assistance our company will grow and we will be able to realize some profits," said Chiwera.busines news
