    – There was pandemonium and commotion at Ritz Nite Club as fans protested over the failure by Zimdancehall artist Soul Jah Love (real name Saul Musakwa) to show up as scheduled on Friday last week.
Of the three artistes who were supposed to perform during the night only Soul Jah failed to turn up, but Trevor Dongo and Madiz fulfilled their fans' wishes by a polished offering.
The DJs tried to buy time playing some hit tracks from other artists but that could not appease the fans that turned vehement, smashing bottles and windows, dragging the DJs, disconnecting instruments and claiming refunds as they felt cheated.
Internal security were nowhere to be found including Police as the fans were baying for management's heads.
A source claimed that Soul Jah Love's name was only put on the posters to lure fans to the show as he had a show in Marondera on the same night.
Ritz manager Roy Gwese confirmed that the whole incident was a disaster and he went on to that they only provided venue for P & R Promotions who were the organisers of the show.
Although Gwese denied that there were damages to property, pictures in possession of The Mirror confirm otherwise.
Royce Mapaike P & R promotions manager said: "We were constantly in touch with his camp confirming their attendance but suddenly their phones went unreachable,"
Efforts to get a comment from Soul Jah Love were not successful as his phone was unreachable.entertainment news
