    – A prophetess from Zaka collapsed and died mysteriously when she had gone to a client's homestead to check on a goat that she was given after performing an exorcising ritual.
The incident happened in Charivande Village under Chief  Ndanga  on Sunday last week.
Police could not be reached to comment but a relative of the deceased Leornard Jack confirmed the incident to The Mirror and said his granny Fungai Mutonera (53) who was a well known prophetess visited one of her client`s homestead in Zishiri Village last Sunday. She started complaining of pain and fell on the ground upon arrival at Pauline Gunda`s homestead and efforts by other prophets to resuscitate her failed and she died later.
"We are saddened by what happened to our granny last Sunday. She visited a homestead where she once performed an exorcising ritual and was given a goat which she wanted to check on.
Upon arrival at Gunda  homestead just as she got to the gate,  she started complaining of a headache and she fell to the ground.
"All efforts to make her regain consciousness failed and several prophets were called to chase away the evil spirits but to no avail.
''She died in the afternoon and her body was carried by Police to Ndanga Hospital Mortuary and we buried her on Thursday morning in Zishiri village," said Jack.local news
