    - The Minister of State for Midlands Province Jason Machaya has given land developers at the Mabula Housing Scheme in Zvishavane three-months ultimatum to service the land or face unspecified action.
Machaya however, said he was impressed with what the land developers have achieved so far but would want them to quicken the pace.
He stated out his position in a telephone interview with The Mirror this week.
"I am impressed with developments although l have given them a three months to complete sewerage, roads and water systems. I will monitor this project closely and will come back after the said period to make assessments.
"I will see what action to take if they fail to meet this deadline," said Machaya
Mabula is a Government housing scheme project of 8 000 residential stands which are set to benefit Zvishavane residents. The project was started in 2013 and it is been developed by seven housing developers.
Machaya said that he understood the problems that the developers faced from gold panners who encroached into the land allocated for residential stands.
"I have listened to problems raised by the housing developers in Zvishavane the major one being of mining claims being gazetted in land earmarked for housing stands," said Machaya local news
